Colour: Intense ruby.

Aroma: Deep aroma, which brings out the flavour of ripped red and black fruits from the woods and well integrated floral notes. Also spicy aromas ( black pepper, vanilla, cinnamon), chocolate and tobacco leaves.

Tasting Notes: Young, with good intensity and complexity;
Very soft attack, balanced acidity, and volume;
Excellent structure in the mouth, with round and elegant tannins; Excellent mouth aroma;
Lingering and greedy finish.

Grape Varieties: Combination of grapes from diferent parts of Quinta Velha, with predominance of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca e Tinta Roriz.

Alcohol Content: 14%

Total Acidity: 5,85 g/l

pH: 3,65

Residual Sugar: 1,8 gr/l

SO2 (Total:) 127 mg/l

Ideal Drinking Temperature: Between 16 and 18oC.

Winemaking: Total stemming. Fermentation with moderate temperature control and daily manual pumping. Long post fermentation maceration. Matured for eighteen months in french oak barrels. Not filtered, or cold stabilized. May create sediments.

Aging Potential: Until 2027.
